My experience is.. keep the plant in relative constant temperature location, avoid direct sunlight n water everyday under well drained soil. I follow "expert advice initially on weekly watering n the leaf goes brown almost immediately in 2 to 3 days time.

One thing everyone should know about palm plants, they are absolute sunlight lovers. The more sunlight they get the happier they are. Hot direct sunlight sees them happiest. They can’t tolerate the cold, as soon as temperatures get freezing they need to be moved indoors. I live in the north. In summer I put my palm outdoors for direct sunlight. Come winter I bring it inside.

I live in an apartment in a sunny area and I water weekly but the ends are turning brown 😢 I cut the brown parts but I really want to know what am I doing wrong.. ever since I got it ive been watering it from tap water, " non potable water".. I switched to potable water this week, could this be the reason! Do I have to change the soil or asd fertilizer or something? I love this plant so much

Just found your book at the library! Yay for color. I would look at Sunset and other home type magazines. Always so muted neutral stuff....i knew there was more color and soul in the community that was never shown in these magazines.

The chenille tweed fabric pills terribly and feels like burlap after a year. I have to use Oster barbering clippers to get them off every other month. Can’t wait for my kid to fully destroy this couch as soon as possible. Wish I got a different fabric.
